Hilton and Middle East for Nile Cruisers Introduce Waldorf Astoria Nile River Experience: A New Chapter in Luxury on the Nile

Hilton and Middle East for Nile Cruisers announce the launch of the Waldorf Astoria Nile River Experience, a project set to redefine the way travelers explore Egypt. Bringing Waldorf Astoria’s iconic elegance and service to the Nile, Africa’s longest and most legendary river, for the first time, this new offering will offer exclusive four- and six-night itineraries, promising a timeless and deeply immersive luxury escape. The journey will take guests between Luxor and Aswan, with private docking in both cities. Along the way, they will visit iconic sites such as the temples of Luxor, the Valley of the Kings, Esna, Edfu, Kom Ombo and Aswan. Each stop will be an immersion into Egypt’s extraordinary cultural heritage, enhanced by the constant assistance of personal concierges who will provide the unmistakable Waldorf Astoria service. On board, the ship will feature five decks and 29 luxurious suites, each designed to offer a refined retreat with spectacular views. Guests will enjoy exclusive amenities including a spa, a state-of-the-art fitness center and an exceptional dining experience. Culinary highlights include the iconic Peacock Alley, a brasserie serving Egyptian, Mediterranean and international cuisine, and a dramatic rooftop deck – all showcasing the brand’s culinary excellence. Dino Michael, Senior Vice President and Global Head of Hilton Luxury Brands, said: “Waldorf Astoria is entering a new era of luxury, offering one-of-a-kind experiences in the world’s most iconic destinations. In addition to the highly anticipated reopening of the iconic Waldorf Astoria New York, we are expanding this year into markets such as Osaka and Costa Rica, with future plans in Sydney, London, Jaipur and beyond. The Waldorf Astoria Nile River Experience will be a tribute to the beauty and history of Egypt, and we are excited to welcome our guests on board starting next year.
